Silkies?

Well yesterday I went And got a pair of silkies..
They were very expensive and the guy said these r still in there middle age and not fully grown thoe they look up to size....
I also got some mix breed babies that r half silkes
Yesterday night it rained and a chick got a cold
Should I move my PURE white silkies in the house and advice bout raising them

How cold did it get? I have 2 pure silkies both were inside until about 6 weeks old. However I'm in florida and the coldest it got here since they have been outside is 40. I don't treat my silkies any differently then my other chickens. If one comes in... they all come in lol

I keep my Silkies cooped up when the weather is bad. Their shredded feathers don't shed water like other breeds. When its warm them being wet isn't really a big deal. When its cold though, they can get sick.

Well it is early April and temp got low as 20 degree centigrade yesterday

I would bring them in if its that cold.. thats just me. lol
