I would love for you silky lovers to post pictures of your chicks and then when they turned into a chicken. Its so I and other curious people can see what color variations are out there. How their colors develop and change. Thank you!
This is Fancy Nancy. I believe I have a picture of her in the incubator right after she hatched, but I'll have to dig for that. She is such a sweetheart. Her "sister" is a LF Cochin/Turken mix. They're inseparable. It's pretty cute because Fancy Nancy is little and Victoria, her "sister", is so big.
I don't have as many hatch/chick pictures of my other Silkies because I purchased them from TSC. Fancy Nancy was an "only" chick, so I spent a lot of time with her and took a lot of pictures, before I was able to purchase Victoria from a nearby farm.
