Silky Question?

I have 3 silky chicks about about 4 to 5 weeks old. Can anyone tell me what to watch for to see if any are roosters. These are pets and I am afraid to keep a rooster as I have a 4 year old that goes in the coop and I am afraid they will be to mean.. I am including a picture of one that I think may be a rooster. And if anyone can tell me what color this one looks to be let me know Its not really white..

Silkies are difficult to sex until they ether crow or lay eggs. On the other hand silkies are mild mannered and are not the vicious type. Your 4 year old may be safe with a silkie roo. If you handle all your chickens early on then they are likely to be friendly as they mature.

My Silkies are great around my kids. When my daughter was little, she was fascinated with our Silkie rooster. She even brought him into her bedroom a few times for "tea parties", which mostly included him pooping all over the floor. Yuck! I had to take quite a few barrettes out of that poor guys hair and tail
