Silky recommendations

Thinking about getting 2-3 pullet silkies. Just want them as an addition to my BY flock. Don't plan on showing them (maybe to the kids in the Cal de sac). They are beautiful and we would like to have a couple.
I live in SC, so maybe ya'all can recommend something. (gotta be hens).

If they are just for pets then I would recommend mypetchicken.com, they have silkies available (alot of colors) for Oct 24 and they sex them too! I purchased a few silkies from them and they are awesome, very pretty!

You could also look at craigslist in your area or they have a for sale area on this site you might want to take a look at. Good luck hope you find what you are looking for. I have silkies also and i just love those little fur balls!

Thanks for the advice. All good points. Think I am going to try local resources first, the shipping cost is out rages.
