Well I have 2 roosters that havent started crowing yet.
I have a stud male and need to offload the other 2.
One of them I simply need to find a home for, he is very tame.
The other one attacks me and the hens. well he treats them roughly! he has to go.
anyhow I can do the deed, and hubby can process him.
How small will he be in the pot? dumb question i know, has anyone had a nice roast silky?
im vegetarian but hubby and son eat meat, which is fine!
As i see it the only drama with breeding little fluffy silkies is that im going to get roos that no one wants so I will get used to culling, though i wont like it.
just though id ask if they are as good as other breeds to eat!

Oh Thankyou , but my DH is a gourmet, guitar playing, song writing cook! who always takes over the kitchen, he loves cooking and he has Austrian bloodlines and is not afraid to try meaty thingies!!!
and no he doesnt talk like "Arnie" but he is built like him, one hot rooster indeed!!!!
