We have a group of 6 silkies that are about 4-5mths old and have been out side for over a month...The last few days we have had torrential(over 9"s) rain and they wouldn't go in their coop, stood outside all day in the rain(they did look cute though)...Today it's 80 degrees, light breeze, a few fair weather cumulus scattered on a very sunny blue sky, where are the silkies, in the coop...We've noticed they just don't like being in the sun, how weird is that?...They will huddle in the shadows around the coop in a little pack moving with the shade, it's just silkies being silly I guess!
