I have 3 silkies in one pen and 1 Cochin hen in another pen (right beside each other) take out 2 peices of watermelon in aluminum pie tins,
place one in each pen. Cochin frizzle hen goes right at it and has hers 1/2 finished and the silkies are still circling the tray suspiciously.
So I go so far as to break off a little piece and hold it out to them.....yum yum....bring it slowly back to the pie tin.....they back away again......bring it back to them and they agree, its delicious...back to the monster silkie eating tray
