I heard a LOUD noise coming from my basement, so I went to investigate. Background- I have a brooder that is divided in two because I had silkies that hatched 2 weeks before my Ameraucana. There is a piece of pegboard so there is good ventilation and it is cutout where the lamp is so both sides are heated. I went downstairs to check out the noise-seems my 1.5wk old silver ameraucana "flew" over the divider and was squaking cuz it couldn't get back. The 3 silkies (3.5 weeks) were so afraid of this visitor they couldn't squish into the corner any tighter, even though they are almost 2x bigger. Silly silkies
