I think if I get breeding stock here I'll have a waiting list for eggs a mile long!

Just need to find a breeder in the above locations since those airports are easy for me to fly too.

Well rainwolf, I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to be put on your list for those. You might find this page helpful if you are really looking into this. Like I said before I have been trying to talk hubby into going to Canada with me for over a year, ever since someone else from Canada posted pics of silver Cots. http://www.aphis.usda.gov/import_export/animals/canada_bird.shtml

It looks like it might just be easier to bring in a truck load of eggs instead of trying to bring in a bunch of birds. But if you are willing to bring in the birds let me know and I will send you the money for their import fees and vet check.

yes eggs will be easier and driving would be easier too... I might have to go visit a friend on the border.. drive across and drive back then fly home

Well as for myself, I can't say I'm a breeder yet, I don't even have my birds! I know that I won't be selling eggs for a while, I want to test hatch and raise some more for myself. I may offer eggs in the future but probably not until next year. But again I'm in Canada so would need to know what is involved in shipping to the states.
