I believe they just put whatever they have a lot of in there. I'm really no expert. This is my first order and I'm super excited so I've been reading every Ideal thread on here! Lol.

How many birds do you have to order from that hatchery? All the ones I can find you have to order fifteen and I don't need that many :-/

Where do you live? I'm in north idaho . I ordered them through our local cenex farm store, so I'm sure the shipping got split between all the orders they get.

Southern North Carolina. Pretty far... And it's way too hot to ship an adult bird

Good luck finding your boy a great home, and I'm looking into places that sell them that doesn't have crazily high shipping. I wonder if I can have our farm store order some...hmm...
