We have eggs we are considering putting in the incubator. They are straight silver cuckoo marans as well as snowy white easter egger hens with the silver cuckoo marans rooster. Will the cross chicks be autosexing? I'm assuming they will be olive eggers. I guess I'm not certain if the white gene in the snowy white easter eggers is recessive or dominant. Thanks for any ideas.

They will not be autosexing of sex links.
Idk which white the EEs are either but for the sex links you're thinking it needs to be non barred rooster over barred hens.

Mine did so far

Also my mix was switched on the sex roo whit ee and hen cuckoo. Given genetics there is a possibility that one is gonna come out with a little color whether is brown/ brownish gold or white. My hen I hatched out was black with golden brown lacing and black face black legs.
Switching which parent is which changes everything as far as producing sexable chicks.
Your cross is very different then theirs.

So, I wouldn't say that they auto-sexed... but I was able to accurately tell which cross was the roo within three days. They followed the silver cuckoo marans pattern of much lighter males and darker females. And the male was a big chonk compared to the females.
