Silver deathlayer?

Ok I hatched some death layer eggs, the chicks was born brown and I thought they will change color to white as they get older, they are still very brown at 5-6 weeks old. Are these not silver deathlayers?? Black ones are copper marans. I have them in this small cage while we are waiting for their coop to be built..

Ok thank you, so these are not deathlayers? They are mix? The black ones are pure copper marans, only the three brown ones are supposed to be death layers. I bought it as silver deathlayer hatching eggs

They are not silver death layers, correct. They're not silver, and they have partial feathering on their legs. I'm pretty positive Deathlayers have clean legs. They also appear to have the wrong color skin and comb types. You got barnyard mix eggs.

Someone ripped you off. Those are mutts with zero deathlayer blood.

PLEASE tell me these are silver deathlayers the precious photos might be my neighbor’s mutts. I hatched eggs for her at the same time as the deathlayers and might have given her my death layers instead of her mutts

Those definitely look correct!
