Yeah my first dustbathing experience with them I thought they were dying.

we have a pen that allways has the door open and it has about 4 inchs of lime for dust bathing
when some come out of that they look like ghosts

and we have 2 huntaway pups [nz working farm dogs]
the young ones have clicked that they get dog roll at night and the game begins , you know when 2 pups have to change feed bowls cause the other bowl could have better stuff in it so as they are changing the bantams zoom in and grab what they can
we put dog roll in our feed mixture so the young ones think I've dropped it in the wrong place
playing with the pups and chicken watching are 2 of the biggest
time wasting things I know but good

If you sens me a pm I'll send you some info how I produced mine. Only took 4yrs for show quality birds. Sent them to another breeder to keep them going but lost to foxes.
