Silver-laced or partridge bantam cochins?

I am soon going to order a number of bantam cochin varieties, but for one of the varieties, I cannot decide between SL and partridge. Which should I get?

Also, I am thinking of ordering three or four of the white variety for breeding, but will this number ensure that I will have at least one hen and one rooster, or should I get more?

I'm not sure about insuring a rooster, but... I vote for Partridge!
