I have two Silver Laced Polish chicks. One is darker than the other, and seems to stand up straighter than the lighter colored chick.

Wondering if there is any known correlation in chick color and gender?

Thank you!

I doubt the coloration could determine sex. Polish in general a difficult to sex at young ages. Laced patterns a little easier as males get wing bars. Watch for solid white or nearly solid white feather on the chicks shoulders "upper wing". This will indicate a cockerel.

I had two silver laced polish. One was slightly darker as a chick and one was lighter. The darker one was a hen and the lighter one was a roo. Just my experience.
