My silver laced wyandotte was thought to be a rooster until she laid an egg (two weeks after my other hens laid their first eggs). She grew big and is very dominant without being aggressive. She just likes to keep everybody under her control in a protective sort of way.Is it common for a rooster to roost and lay down if I stroke his back? She lays alot on me. Also she is from a feed store who orders from a hatchery. I really don't think her lacing is all that bad when I've compared her to other threads. Her chest is coming in very nicely.
