8/9 week old Silver Laced Wyandotte. I’m unclear on how to sex them. They both look a lot like pullets to me based on the comb coloring but one has nicer tail feathers than the other and they are the same age.
Thanks for any help!

Hi there, welcome to BYC! :frow

I agree, both are pullets.. :celebrate

Gender relative saddle feathers don't come in until around 12 weeks on most birds.

The face color looks like flushing as the comb is still small.. though I can't see waddles.. which are the best early indicator aside from sometimes behavior.

Looks like a lovely little variety in your flock there. :love

Thanks everyone!
I knew it was a bit early to tell but was really hoping for pullets. We have a one rooster limit where I am and I’ve got two Easter egger Roos so I was hoping I wouldn’t have to say goodbye to a SLW!
