Planning to make this a "growth progression/what did the sex end up being" thread for my SLW named Jules. "She" has suspiciously pink comb/wattles, but evidently that can happen sometimes with SLW pullets. Attaching photos at about 1/2 week, then 4 weeks. Will hopefully remember to update regularly until sex is known for sure.

Jules is from Mt Healthy hatchery (via local feed store) and was part of an all-female order.

I'm gonna play devil's advocate and say pullet. I had three SLW and two of them had that much comb and wattle developement at that age and all three turned out to be pullets. But only time will tell!

I totally agree (s)he looks male, but I've seen a couple posts on here for this breed in particular where "obvious" males with comb development turned out to be egg-layers...so I will keep everyone posted!

5 week update photos. Still very pink comb and wattles. Feather pattern looks pretty consistent though.
