Hi, i have a 6 week old silver laced wyandotte i was wondering if it is a pullet or cockerel. I really hope it is a pullet since we cant have cockerel.

Six weeks is too early for Wyandottes. Their combs pink up early even the pullets and can be very difficult to tell until quite a bit later. Unless the comb becomes obvious you may have to wait until the saddle feathers come in at about 12 to 14 weeks of age.Hi, i have a 6 week old silver laced wyandotte i was wondering if it is a pullet or cockerel. I have 8 Silver laced Wyandotte Pullets about this age, and this one looks just like mine. But as others have said, I guess it's pretty tough to tell until a bit later. Although I will say it looks like the feathers look a tad different, almost more curly if that makes sense
