silver laced wyandotte?

Is this a silver laced wyandotte? I'm sorry I don't have a better pic. My daughter REALLY wants one, and I am having a heck of a hard time finding one! Someone is selling this one and says that it is a SLW pullet. The feathers don't look quite right to me, but I pretty much only know what the adult birds look like. Maybe this is what they look like as they are growing out? And do I see a crest on this bird? Or is that my imagination? Thoughts before I get back to the lady? It looks to be a very pretty chicken, just not sure it is a SLW???

No, it looks like a polish.

That is not a wyandotte. It looks like a mix of something crested. You can go to feathersite and find nice pics of silver laced wyandotte hens.

Hmmm....doesn't look polish to me either. My polish that are a little younger than this one, have a lot more crest than this one does. It appears to maybe be a cross of some sort? SLW x ???

How about the feather patterning....does it appear to be more penciled than laced? Or does that change as they mature?

Oops, I didn't even see your post! I've been looking at pics online...looks like maybe a silver penciled wyandotte cross??? Either way, not what I'm looking for.

I almost put a question mark after polish.

The head is shaped differently. Looks like a naked neck/polish head. I really don't know. I do think strongly that this is definately a cross.

I'm also thinking if it were a SLW, there would be a bit of white around the neck?

The hen in question looks silver penciled.
