Dune overheard a conversation between shrike and dyra, they seemed to be hunting alone, and dune became interested as soon as she heard the word “beaver”.Shrike shrugged, "I don't know... I don't think I've ever tried it before."
"Ok.." Dyra thought about it for a second. "Well I guess we don't need to hunt the beaver, but-- we can go any watch it!" Dyra exclaimed, with her tail starting to wag. "Want to? My brother Kokadjo says that they built caves out of sticks called dams, and they get into their caves by swimming underwater and they have a cold storage place to keep their food fresh for a long time. He also says that we can learn a lot about survival by watching the beavers." Dyra paused, then then said, "Sorry about going off on so much beaver information. That might of confused you. It's just that Kokadjo knows so much about everything."Shrike shrugged, "I don't know... I don't think I've ever tried it before."
Shrike wagged his tail, "Don't apologize." He said, "I'd like to meet Kokadjo sometime!" Hmm, her loner brother seems souds fun to hang out with, Shrike thought, but he's a loner... "I only knew that beavers had bad eyesight. Once I got just about three rabbit lengths from one before it noticed me. I think we should go watch it!""Ok.." Dyra thought about it for a second.
