They would look like this, Except cochins... This color is very rare in the USA

Thanks!

I have been most puzzled. I have seen two completely differing phenotypes both called "silver partridge" on a UK forum. Neither looked like I'd imagine i.e. like a silver pencilled wyandotte.

Is that female a double laced silver barnevelder?

Have you seen silver penciled cochins? Are they the same thing? Beautiful- but they were banties.

In a discussion on a UK forum a link was given to this site:

I was surprised to see the silver & gold partridge birds. They are not the same as partridge & silver pencilled as in wyandotte.

In the same discussion there were some totally different looking birds, also called silver partridge, which appeared to be silver wheaten with pattern gene (I can't show the pic as it is on a rival forum). How very confusing.

So this lead me to wonder whether silver partridge & gold partridge cochins in US were the same.

The birds shown on the link site are very poor specimens of Partridge & Silver Pencilled. They also all appear to be Wheaten based.
