Silver partridge or birchen silkie?

My sister's partridge Silkie was solid black. Apparently this happens with partridge Silkies sometimes.
He grew into this.

He came from show bloodlines. I don't have his baby pictures.

He is beautiful! Both it’s parents have white so it will more than likely change as it grows up. It’s a mystery with silkies you never know what your going to get!

Yeah, it is.

The silver partridge chicks were produced from breeding regular partridge to white. So, the white hens must've been carrying silver.

Silver partridge is by far my favorite silkie color!

I would say silver patridge. Our silver partridge silkie rooster was extremely dark, almost black, as a chick. And he looks a lot like your boy

Thank you! His sibling looks almost solid black right now so I am guessing that is what he looked like. I am debating if I want to get him some silver partridge or birchen hens
