silver pencilled?

I have just been talking to the man who i bought my recently hatched eggs from. i showed him a picture of 2 of my chicks - a pekin bantam chick and a blue laced wyandotte chick. he said that the pekin should be a girl because "silver pencilled males have 2 stripes down their back and this ones is more even" i dont understand what he means by "silver pencilled" if anyone could explain i would appreciate it, if they are a breed i dont know what they look like so pictures would be very helpfull

Lucky you, the silver penciled birds are absolutely gorgeous and rather rare.
