Are you sure the pair in the first post are purple? They look more blue esp the hen compared to the hen in post 8. I would call the first picture IB silver pieds by looking at the photo. My purple hen doesn't have any blue on her neck.

With different light it's very purple at times and blue at other times the first hen has a lot of light buff coloring that I don't usually see in IB pieds. But am I sure no will know when I get eggs and hatch some I guess lol

Went off what the lady told me when I bought them few weeks ago these other 2 hens were such a good price and couldn't leave them in that muck and guck.

It shouldn't matter they are a very beautiful pair whether they are blue or purple
