Houndit and I will be buying in a month or so Silver Sussex chicks so in order to get a feel of who would want eggs and maby chicks we are asking who would want eggs and maby chicks in the spring....
We will either sell 6 or 12 eggs at a time...

While I'd love some I'm sure they'll be well out of my price range.

Am i reading this right?...6 chicks for $750.00! Why are they so expensive?? They are really great looking birds though.

They are so expensive because this is practically the only person in the United States that raises them.

I think they are worth every penny. They are beautiful. I have a jar labeled "Silver Sussex" and it has $5.00 in it.

Hopefully I'll have enough by next spring and if not 2011 isn't that far away

That's my thought, 1 jar + 1 dollar a day = by the time they start to lay, I can afford some eggs!
