The first 18 days should be 28-35%.

For lockdown, between 58-65%.

Lol ... it might be a simple question, but I don't think you're going to get a simple answer to this one! Lots of numbers work for different people. Mine sets automatically, but it's about 45% initially, with a jump to about 80% at lockdown. I've had a lot of successful hatches. Considering chickens hatch outdoors everywhere, from Florida's subtropics to the dryness of Arizona, I think what's most important is that there is a significant increase toward the end.

Mine is at 47%, my books all say 40-50% for the first 18 so thats what I am running now, I will not know how well its working for a few days when I candle them more, they are 3 days in now
