They are mostly my Andalusian bantams right now. I have large fowl following them up. They're in the incubator as of Monday evening so it will be a while.

Woke up this morning to two chicks hatched, dried and fluffy!![]()
Well the little duck egg with the bad bad air cell For some help from us but we couldn't find his bill so we left him for a bit with a hole in the inner membrane and went outside. I just cane in to check the status of his blood vessels but I noticed he wasn't moving so I jumped into action but it was too late. His bill was buried in his yolk sac and we didn't know it to know we needed to untuck his head.

Aw, sorry to hear that.![]()
I am so sorry.....it makes me so nervous when it gets to that point....and so sad. I had a chick that pipped internally, but on the wrong side. I saw the egg rocking and didn't intervene...I am certain that the rocking was because it was struggling because it was drowning. I didn't realize he had pipped internally till I opened the shell. It was last year.

It really is the worst time. I can handle eggs quiting. I can handle chicks passing as day olds. But if I feel there was something I could have done during hatching... gosh, guilt.
