Single chick

We are hatching two duck eggs one of the eggs is hatching but the other one didn't. I'm concerned about this one not having a friend to bond with. If I bought two more chicks the same age would all three bond together or do they only bond in two's I don't want him/her to be lonely all our grown ducks are in pairs so I wasn't sure how three would bond.
 
lol thanks so much I just wanted to make sure he wouldn't be alone

Hope the picture shows up our little single arrived around 5:30 this evening he was a twin but his sibling stopped developing and disappeared

we almost lost this one it took him about 36hrs to hatch and our friend that raises ducks and chickens helped us help him out of his shell
 
We'll be getting him two siblings this week so he won't be lonely

We bought two ducklings so Bean would have other ducks to bond with...meet Aurora the Cayuga and Maggie Mae our Magpie
