single-lobed paunch

What does this even mean?

I am thinking of getting some Pomeranian geese and on a list of what to look for, including pink feet and bill, was single-lobed paunch. I have NO idea what this means.

Does anyone have any pictures or desciption?

Also if any one has information about Pomeranian geese that would be great too. Temperament and such. Thanks!

No I have not owned geese before. I have ducks and chickens. Is this a problem?

The geese I may go look at are from criagslist.

They are a heritage breed and are on the critically endangered list of heritage breeds. I have bred geese for years and really like this line of geese, and they have a nice calm disposition. That having been said, geese are not just giant ducks, they are grazers and eat mostly green food so a bit of land works best for them. If you have a place to keep them GO FOR IT! the people here on the goose board can answer questions you may have and walk you through goose ownership. $25/day old gosling is a good price for this breed. I have never owned the breed mostly because they are hard to come by, but they have a great reputation in the goose world.

Thanks. . . I am still thinking. I might wait until spring now.

I was planning on keeping them with my cayuga ducks at night and then letting them range during the day.
