Hello,
My chicken adventures came up with only 1 single chick from the incubator. I have a hen that went broody a week after the incubator adventures. Hopefully I will have some chicks from the hen.
The question is do I borrow a few of the hens chicks to go with the singleton or do I try to put the singleton in with the hen once her eggs hatch?
If I put in with hen what is the proper procedures to help the singleotn survive?

Thanks
Holly

So the singleton chick would be around a week old when the broody hatches out her chicks? You could try slipping him/her under the broody, we have managed that in the past with a 4 day age gap and the broody was happy to adopt another (slightly older) chick...

Hopefully others will have some more ideas / advice. Good luck with your singleton chick
