I’m going to have to do this with one of my girls. Do you recommend prepping the area with iodine? How would you suggest closing up the wound or protecting it?
I would prep the area with betadine. Once the pus is removed I would flush it with sterile saline. No local anesthetic. Keeping them still is tricky. Let me think about how I do it, and I will post instructions in the next day or two.Do you put a local anesthetic on the area or just go for it? How do you keep them still?
