You can purchase a membership to remove ads. If that is not financially feasible, there are contests in which forum participation can earn you a free membership. :)

I’m personally quite interesting as to what you have trouble navigating in the site? I am also on PC and do find the mobile version is a bit less user friendly. I have tried using Reddit in the past with no success, it hard to navigate and understand. But I find this site natural and easy to use. Is it the way the categories are spread out? The way things are laid out? What about it is confusing?
maybe I shouldn’t say have trouble but it is but rather to say is poorly organized and is time consuming. Well I guess that design is reflective upon exposing participants to maximum advertisers along the way? Idk. Y’all asked, and I’m trying to get feedback. I don’t understand why there is so much hostility.

Dude just stop.
It's not the websites fault that your internet service is not good.
AND this website doesn't download mega doses of anything onto anybody's device.

Wow, you seem so intolerant of the experience others. You appear do have difficulty believing anyone’s experience that’s not like yous. I pray for you to see beyond your own experience and reach a point where you can embrace what God is trying to show you.

You might try talking calmly about a specific issue -- like I did with the search engine -- instead of whining and insulting the people who run the place.

who’s fault is the Internet access problem? There are millions of people who live in the US without broadband Internet access. Not that they can’t afford it, but it’s NOT available. Are you aware of that? Do you even care? You seem to put my experience off on the fact that I’m not paying enough for access and I don’t have enough equipment, but youre wrong. It’s people like you that give money to big corporations that keep us down.

I’m not insulting anyone. What is an example of my insulting people?

It always amazes me when people ask for feedback openly and when feedback is given they set certain parameters on the feedback. I think that pretty much sums up the problem with this site. It’s willie Nelly. Y’all need to archive 99% of your content and put current activity at the forefront. Also need to hire a third-party web designer/marketer to help b/c y’all are in over your head. Is that specific enough? I have more it’s it’s not 😂. I wasn’t trying to give y’all a hard time, I just wanted to let you know there’s a lot you could easily do on your end to make it more user-friendly. Don’t be so sensitive dude. You also should ask folks what they don’t like, as opposed how to fix it. Wow....
Maybe you haven’t spent enough time on forums?? This site uses the same formatting as nearly all other large forums— which has evolved over the last 2-3 decades from the old “bulletin board” format. Most of that evolution has been in the area of emoji use, and ease of message composition (wysiwyg). The overall look of message boards across the web has changed very little. Today, there are more ads, colors can be customized, and accessibility options are better supported. The fact that MB’s have had so few changes speaks to the fact that most people find them easy enough to use and are generally happy with the given format.

There could be some improvement in navigation of the non-forum parts of the site, but honestly it’s not that bad. I’ve seen much, *much* worse.

I agree that your suggestion is really not helpful... saying there’s “a lot you could easily do on your end to make it more user-friendly” doesn’t really tell the site owners anything. What exactly do you find difficult to use or navigate... provide examples, via marked up screenshots, or links to content you dislike. I don’t see “a lot” that could be done, so I expect the site owners don’t see much either...
So point it out if you want anyone to change anything.

Easier than Reddit? I guess you are still using AOL, Netscape and asking folks their, asl?🤪😜 I’m just trying to get feedback saying Its out of date, antiquated and being bullied for it. I do realize there a fewer young people using this site. maybe it’s better to know your market and cater to older folks rather than to broaden it. Dude, who uses a PC these days?
I am still in school, primarily using a laptop, and have had no issues using this site and I find it very user friendly. This is the first forum that I've joined, and I figured out how to get around no problem.
