When I went to sign it, I had a warning box that popped up stating the site is insecure and that by continuing to sign in, I would be exposing my LogIn ID and Password at my own risk. Further instructions were to contact the webmaster to notify them of the issue and ask that the website be made secure, and to change my password as soon as the site was secured.

Once we switch the site over to the domain name, we will be running under HTTPS. Until then, we have to run over HTTP via the IP address. It's unsecure in the sense that data between your browser and server isn't encrypted. It will be once the actual switch takes place.

That makes sense. Thank you! :)
