Need Help Urgent!!
Duckling Age: 14 Days
weight: 95gm
Problem: duck sitting down and not eating or drinking anything. I have isolated it from the herd and still behaving same. But he is jumping at times and trying to escape from cage. So at times his legs seems to be Ok.
Note: I was feeding my herd thiavin(vitamin b1+b2+b3) for 5 days already.
My experience: amature

I'm a firm believer that unless the condition is dire I don't remove birds from the flock. It really stresses them out and can actually be worse on them because they become even more stressed and do worse. I feed ducks a mash instead of dried feed. They eat it much better. Try that with ALL ( put him back) the ducklings and see if he improves. Does your water set up have a way for the ducklings to clean their nares?

Thanks for your reply. I also feed my ducks mash food. And I have put him back with the flock and he is doing good now. I have a pond for ducks but as they are still only 16days old i havent let them out in the pond yet in these 16days. Is that a problem?
