Size of 6 Week Old Chicks?

All normal size! Mine are about the same age now too. Size can depend widely on the breed, as my Barred Rocks are bigger than my Cherry Eggers.

cute! although your barred rocks look much bigger! when does your grower feed say to switch to layer feed?

I use a feed that is both a starter and a grower, but I want to switch them to just grower after the last of the bag is gone. I wouldn't feed layer to them until about 18 weeks (about when some start to lay).

okay thanks! I have mine on just grower, and it ends at 20 weeks.
