I'm wanting to build a bigger coop since mine is way too small for the amount I have and I know it.

I'm wanting to know how many could fit in an 8'x4'

And how many would fit in a 12'x4'. This is just the coop and not the run.

I have geese ducks and chickens

If you get lots of nasty weather then chickens need more than 4 square feet in the coop (I like 8 to 9 square feet of coop space per bird), OR a roofed run with wind blocks with the 4 square feet per bird.

So, WITH a sheltered run, and chickens only, the 8'x4' will hold 8 max, the 12'x4' will hold 12 max.

Without a sheltered run, especially if you have nasty winters or prolonged rainy periods, I would only put 4 chickens max in the 8'x4' and 6 chickens max in the 12'x4'.

Ducks and geese... depends on the kinds... but usually, as long as they have a sheltered feed and water area (protected from rain, wind, and snow), their coop (so sleeping area and nests) can be smallish. Broody breeds need one nest space per female, non-broody can have fewer.

A tightly bonded trio can sleep together in a small space (so a dog house type coop)...BUT, each trio or male with "his" girls will need his own area, so suddenly you need a huge coop, or several small ones. Also, the ducks will not want to be up against the geese... maybe if you have only females... or only one male, they will allow it... but maybe not.

My point is, size requirements for your ducks and geese can vary wildly depending on exactly what you have and the flock dynamics.
