So I'm thinkin of starting a sizzled serama project I already have frizzle hens as well a silkied male.

Is it as simple as crossing the two?
Punnet square would look like this but what gene is dominant?
Would silkied/ smooth mean silkied or smooth?
Or frizzled silkied mean sizzled or frizzle or silkied?

S- smooth
F- frizzled
I- silkied

Frizzle is dominant.
Silkie/smooth produces a smooth phenotype.
Frizzle/Silkie produces a frizzle phenotype.

No, just crossing the two will not work.

A sizzle is a bird who has 1 frizzle gene and 2 silkie genes. In other words, it will take several years of work.

Yes cross your frizzled ones with your silkied one. None of the offspring will be silkied but all will carry one gene for it.
Around half of them will be frizzled.
Cross the frizzled ones with the non frizzled ones. In the offspring they produce again about half will be frizzled.
About 1/4th will be silkied. As soon as you get one of those silkied ones that also is frizzled you'll have your goal.
I would also save any silkied ones that aren't frizzled for further breeding since you won't want to breed two birds that carry the frizzle gene.
You goal will only take 2 generations if you produce enough chicks.

After I get sizzles I cant breed two sizzles and get sizzles correct?

You breed two sizzles you'll get around 25% silkied, 50% sizzles and 25% sazzles

And if you breed a sazzle to a silkie you'll get 100% Sizzles.
