im sorry but i come here today with some bad news. For a few days Holly seemed to have a case of the sniffles, so we've been giving her antibiotics in the water again. yesterday here eye was terribly swollen and she really didnt look good.

ive just been in this morning and found she'd passed away in the night. after all shes been through a respitory infection(?) took her from us. i'm gutted, heartbroken even. poor little Holly, she was doing so darn well....

i'd like to thank every single one of you for all the comments, help and support you've been giving throughout the journey....and i hope somewhere in all this story is information that will help others and give hope that chickens are tougher than they seem and can over come serious injury. sadly for Holly it just wasnt meant to be.

I'm so sorry! Its so hard to lose them. You did all you possibly could for her. I think sometimes an attack really compromises their entire immune system and they have a hard time coming back. You were there for her.
