Awwww, dang it all! At least she knew she was loved! You all took such great care of her ~ I'm sure her days were better for being your girl! Blessings to you all! Pam

So sorry for your loss.

I have been reading this thread since Day 1 and I was so excited about her recovery. This saddens me terribly. I am so heart broken to hear this news. Well, she isn't in any more pain. You were great with her and have her so much love and cared for her so very well. You did a great job. Holly will be missed.

So sad and so sorry to hear about Holly. My whole family knows of this story and asks me about Holly whenever they see me on this website.

But thank you for sharing your story. We've learned so much about what to do and not do in an emergency situation like this one.

I had a roaster that I saved from an attack by a weasel. Antibiotics, antiseptic spray, stress aid (vitamin and electrolyte), Lots of diligences, and healing herbs (nettles, comfrey, chickweed, parsley, look up 'Herbal Handbook for Farm and Stable' by Juliette de Bairacli Levy) and garlic, chopped up. He healed very well.

Sorry I just read the rest of the post. R.I.P.

Keep this in mind if you should ever need this again.
