One of my hens had her toes in the way as the door was being shut. This caused some awful scraps on her outer toe with the skin being torn away. We cleaned and dressed the wound with Neosporin and a bandaid and change it daily. She can walk but limps. This happened 4 days ago. We are unable to keep a dressing on it now. She keeps picking it off. I have noticed the toe is swollen tonight. I’m not sure what to do to help her. She is still eating well and drinking as well as laying daily. She only has a slight limp and can run when needed but she limps Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
