I'm not saying thats the right or correct thing to do, but its what I would do! Anything is better than nothing. At least you would have tried, there is a reason that all of the chickens are loosing weight, that would mean to me that it was a virus or a bacteria, or something that has to effect all of them, its not like its just one chicken you said they are all skinny. I doubt it is worms as you just wormed them.
I don't want this to come off as harsh... but , Stop crying , stop wasting your good money on a vet that won't or can't help you and start helping your birds. Put them on an antibiotic, its worth a try! I hope you can save them!
