Skinny Jeans

I am pretty certain that the shoes are inspired by a very funny movie called, I'm gonna get you sucka. the movie was making fun of the seventies.

I have looked for the scene in which the guy dresses as a pimp and wears gigantic platform shoes with goldfish in them, but I can't find a photo. Darn it.

You are absolutely correct...... although huggy bear in the newer Startsky and Hutch had them on also

Can't find the scene, but here's my fav man from that movie

Then again, I did find some old pairs in my parents closets with removable caps for dumping the fish out at the end of the day

too bad that your parents hadn't taken a picture of themselves in the shoes. That would have been hilarious to see.

I guess they didn't feed them. The shoes were enormous though. The one I remember was a man wearing the, and they were easily 6 inches tall, likely more, and it wasn't water in just the heel, it was the entire bottom. Like a shaped fish tank with boots on top. He did look like a pimp.

I just bought dark blue skinny jeans and I'm planning to wear them with black chucks. I'm not sure about the top though. I know skinny jeans look good with babydolls and flowy tops but are there other styles? If not, what color top would look good?

Ok - my 15 year old and I found a good compromise today for jeans. They are skinny flares (they also had skinny bootcut) These jeans are skinny in the top part but flare slightly at the ankles. They looked pretty good on her - it is hard to find jeans that fit her well because she is only 4'11" and is triangle built (broad shoulders ) with very muscular legs from 9 years of gymnastics and 2 years of swimming.
