Skunk smell and taste

There's a recipe for a dog rinse, which includes some of the already mentioned ingredients. It's good, but Skunk Off is the best!
One of our dogs still is a bit 'fragrant' after his last skunk interaction, dear boy that he is.

I've never heard of a smell lasting over a year. Even in wood. Long shot but a faint smell of musk can come from a snake. Some snakes smell similar to a skunk.

With that said the other washes posted above should work. Vinegar, peroxide, dawn, baking soda etc....

The coop stinks of it still and the eggs taste like it. At this point she will try about anything, as long as it's safe for the chickens.

Skunk off works on skunks but I'm betting there is a snake issue. Skunk spray doesn't last a year.

There's also the chance that another skunk is living in the area and returning to the sprayed area to mark it's territory where one sprayed another will return to sent mark . That's my story and I'm sticking to it .

Skunk spray is an oil, not a liquid. You need to attack it with something that breaks down oil - like dawn dish soap.
