Skunks vs Chickens

We have a skunk in our raccoon cage and we are wondering if we let it go will it come back and kill our hens?

Skunks enjoy a meal of chicken....yes, I'd say that there is a very strong possibility.

If you let the skunk go...then you've also just educated the skunk about traps. If it starts killing chickens, catching it again is going to be a bit harder.

Best advice is once you catch a predator around the chickens, remove it from the gene pool.
