The stallion lifted his head, still munching on grass. His mane of rippling black was streaked with small amounts of gray hair, and with the whitening stubble beneath his chin, he showed signs of much age. Upon seeing the mare, he swallowed the grass and walked slowly up to her. "Hello there!" He said, his voice deep but warm and comforting.

Rega looked at him "hello"

"I don't think we've met before," The stallion chuckled. "I'm Zeus, and I'm assuming you're Rega?"

She let out a horrified scream before rearing backwards, her well muscled haunches shivering wildly. "Don't hurt me!" Kaitlyn cried out as she tucked her draft-shaped head into her chest. The mare's adopted colt whinnied, hiding behind his mother.
