Quote:
"Misla?" called Hades as he swiftly cantered from the pool he'd been standing by, slowing to bemusedly look down at her. "Misla!" he shouted, nudging her face off of the ground with his metal hoof, it's cold surface chilling her cheek. He'd hoped that he could bring her out of her unconciousness. His eyes darted about, looking her head to hoof for vital signs.
Her breathing was fast and shallow and her eyes did not open.
He watched the crow flitting about nearby with a suspicious, critical eye when he examined what looked like the marks of a bird's mandibles and blew through his nose. His eyes took on a soulless black as he gazed at it, and the crow promptly fled, before Hades' eyes returned to their normal electric yellow pigmentation.
Hades briskly glanced down at Misla with a furrowed brow in frustration, then bolted off for a pool. Slurping some water in his mouth, he rushed as fast as he could manage with his heavy metal hooves, which came to a skidding stop and flayed grass about, among a billowing plume of dust. He poured out the cold water on her neck to, hopefully, startle her awake. "Misla!" he called as he nudged her with his muzzle.
