~Skyherd~ A wild horse Roleplay

Quote:
He watched the crow flitting about nearby with a suspicious, critical eye when he examined what looked like the marks of a bird's mandibles and blew through his nose. His eyes took on a soulless black as he gazed at it, and the crow promptly fled, before Hades' eyes returned to their normal electric yellow pigmentation.

Hades briskly glanced down at Misla with a furrowed brow in frustration, then bolted off for a pool. Slurping some water in his mouth, he rushed as fast as he could manage with his heavy metal hooves, which came to a skidding stop and flayed grass about, among a billowing plume of dust. He poured out the cold water on her neck to, hopefully, startle her awake. "Misla!" he called as he nudged her with his muzzle.

Her eyes opened and she stared blankly up at Hades.

"You blacked out," he mused, sighing silently. "Are you feeling all right?"

"Hades," he said over his shoulder with a brisk glance at her, preoccupied.

She stared at him. Her eyes were empty and they seemed almost hollow. She didn't say a word.

He looked into her blank eyes with his vivid yellow ones. They flashed pure ink-black like they had to the crow, only briefer this time; a voice resounded in her mind, that of Hades, all other surrounding noises ebbing away from her awareness. "Misla!" it urged, sounding desperate.

Aglaia trotted out from beneath the dogwood, trotting momentarily as she built up speed going down a small hill. She stopped mid step, her foreleg still raised as she shook out her long mane. Aglaia looked around Eclipseherd thoughtfully, enjoying the peace of the early morning. The hills were lightly covered in dew, giving them the appearance that they glittered, the birds sang beautifully in the many trees; filling the air with their song. Lowering her head, Aglaia began to graze.
