Levi stood on a high peak in the valleys of Skyherd, overlooking the dry, sun-parched pasture as the wind combed through his mane of ivory. He'd grown to be a handsome stallion, and the wild had wisened him and matured him, but he still held vivid memories in the back of his mind; the shadow of his former self. Being teased and shunned for being 'slow', his own father mouthing silently to his mother about his setbacks, he remembered it all right. He gritted his teeth for a moment, his eyes glinting with remorse. If only the world could see things in his eyes.
He felt distant, empty; dissatisfied with life in general. His contemplative, steel-gray eyes gazed off into the distance, and he seemingly departed from reality yet again.
