Sled dog breeding

Bring left leg back and reset both rears. Preferable to move front legs back even if you have to reset rears once the dog has been stacked. If you move a front leg forward once their weight has been set, there's a great chance of racking especially in an untrained dog. If you look at the photo- his left front is forward of his shoulder and not perpendicular to the ground. He'd be racking.

Thanks! That helps. I keep moving his fronts and he just don't look right. Our conformation classes don't start up again until September 3.

Are the classes free or do you have to pay forthen? I'm geting a show dog pup her in the next year and I want to show him, so I want to start classes with one of our mutts/ pures

Well darn, she looks like shed win champ, in a year or less.

Sh does have a great looking body, and if she only had the very slight snap to her tail I'd try her in the ring and as a possible b*tch. But her underbite is a deal breaker. I have no way of telling if her underbite is caused my a teeth misalignment I missed during her puppy hood, or from genetics. I can't risk her passing that defect on to a whole litter of pups.

But I can and will use her as an agility dog. She can be a great companion for my sons and have fun competing with them. I do wish I could breed her, she has a serious working attitude that I'd love to breed into a line of Siberians. She constantly amazes my trainer and I with how obedient she is, it's not normal Siberian behavior.

Is there testing that can be done to see if it's hereditry?

I had a choice between a 6 week class that cost $110, or a class that is ongoing and costs $10 a day. I took a private at both places. The place that costs $110 was teaching me to show German Shepards, not Siberians! So I chose the $10 a day class for that reason and because the trainer is a judge and there are 2 other Siberians taking class there as well. Since the trainer and 1 of the Siberian handlers are part of the Stewards Club I am joining, it works well for me.

I'm getting a blue Merle male Australian Shepard, he's got winning lines and Working lines in him. Just what I'm looking for and he'll only cost $1,500 with papers. And without a spay/Nueter contract.
